After graduate

After a student finally graduated from a univeristy or a college, what is she/he going to do?

1. Find a job--ching cai la..as long as there is a job to pay him/her money

2. Accept a job offer--different from 1. because people come to approach you to hire you to work for them.

2. Go travel-- backpack to the whole peninsula Malaysia, go visit relatives in overseas

3. Continue Master-- degree is not enough ok?

4. Pursue/realize the dream--open a shop? become a boss?

5. Insurance agency/direct sales--earn more money than an engineer per month ok?

6. Marry--urmm..rare case, but this happens..

7. Jobless-- cos cannot find a job

8. Unidentified--there is always many things to do after graduate..

Well, whatever the reason it is, graduating soon is a good news and bad news for me at the same time.

Good news is...NO MORE TESTS! NO MORE ASSIGNMENTS!! NO MORE LABS! NO MORE FINAL YEAR PROJECT!!

Bad news is..NO MORE ALLOWANCE FROM PARENTS,NO MORE PRIVILEDGE AS A STUDENT! HAVE TO BERDIKARI(BERdiri DI atas KAki tangan sendiRI)!

"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty"
- Sir Winston Churchill

Well well, less than one month I will be graduating. I have planned my graduation trip to KK, then, urmm..what's next? I don't know. I don't have a clear direction. There is not any body that provide counselling to the graduated students on how to continue their lives. Most of the people especially relatives and family members tend to give pressure to us students...what? Still not yet get a job? You want to rely on the family for whole life ah???

Thanks to mum as she didn't mention this issue to me. She only granted the permission to me to go to KK after I am graduated. After that, I am not very sure whether there will be any nagging or pressure from her.. today I have read the forwarded news from friend..sounds scary you know?? I am kinda worry one day I am one of them..

O_o concentrate on the presentation for Final year project on this wednesday first..

    1. expect too high salary
    2. too choosy leh, tis one dowan, tat one dowan. Tis too far, tat too near
    3. ATNC (All Tok No Action
    4. Lazy~~

jason: thanks for your wish!Guess my presentation was a good one cos' the lecturer showed satisfied face :P

ic3_que3n:yalo..I also feel it...but don't think all 80,000 students have the same attitude..perhaps what they learn did not really useful to the industry...

aeron morieth: welcome to my blog. Is job hunting a searing pain in your place as well? Do share with us~ :)
